Oatmeal Four Ways

For the past two years, I have eaten oatmeal for breakfast almost every workday morning. The craziest part about it is that I haven’t deviated from my usual agave nectar and fruit. Some mornings I’ll add banana, and for a while I was in a serious blueberry phase, but for the most part, I stick to the same. So, in an effort to explore my options, I’ve tried a few new and unexpected combinations to spice up my breakfasts.

Oatmeal is great because it is so quick to make, and like a blank canvas, it is ready for whatever flavors you add to it. I’ve varied these recipes from savory to refreshing, to sweet and salty. I hope you enjoy!
