I’ve been trying to watch what I eat here lately but it seems like everywhere I turn, people are sharing yummy (yet unhealthy) recipes. Berries and carbs and sugar to celebrate the upcoming Fourth of July, or frozen treats to beat the heat, and there’s always chocolate, chocolate, chocolate! It’s not easy resisting the temptation to not only eat these yummies, but to pop in the kitchen and bake something up in my free time. So, instead I thought I’d share some of the tastiest-looking treats I’ve come across recently, and their appropriate food groups: cheese, sugar, and carbs. I’m pretty sure there are no calories involved in just looking…

I don’t know about you, but when I go all out in a gluttonous fashion, cheese is involved. Cheese is everywhere. Smothered, topped, sprinkled, and coated. Cheddar, provolone, swiss in a pinch, fresh mozz if I’m feeling fancy. Cheese is my Achilles heel, and I know I’m not the only one.

I definitely saved the best for last. I have a major sweet tooth, and while I don’t claim to know how to cook, I thoroughly enjoy baking. Pastries, cookies, and candies are not only tasty, but they often signify a celebration or special occasion. These sweet confections are also so very pretty to look at it!
