If you’re anything like me, you’re impatient. I have my new apartment, I want it completely decorated and move-in ready like, yesterday. Over the years and the moves, I’ve learned from experience though, that the best thing to do when furnishing a new space is to….
There are so many resources for home inspiration online these days. In the past, I would start at Pinterest and three hours later realized I had fallen into a black hole of design sites and DIY blogs. In an effort to jump-start your inspiration expedition, I’ve shared my cheat sheet for never-fail, always-inspiring design sites.
By THE ONE I am referring to a super awesome space that will make you so happy you will never want to leave… What were you thinking? When looking to move, there are so many factors to consider: location, space, pets, kids, budget. It can become overwhelming but, with the right time and preparation, you can find a great place and make the transition smoothly. Here are a few tips for finding your next place to call home.
I’m moving this week! I’m thrilled because this is the first time that I will be totally and completely independent. While there are ups and downs to moving, the idea of starting fresh and creating a new space to call home is undeniably exciting. To celebrate, I’ve dedicated a whole week of posts about moving, design, and the spaces we call home.
Hope you enjoy!
Breaking up is hard to do. There’s no doubt about that. But for me, there’s something cathartic about blasting the right music at the right moment and just singing/dancing/crying it out. Here’s a pared down mix I’ve compiled of songs that have seen me through rough days. Some are girly (I mean, can you make a mix without Beyoncé?) and some are classic. Some are peaceful and some are sweet. Grab the tissue box and turn up the volume.
And so we meet again! The weekend is here and while I know I’ve been kind of MIA lately, I figured the least I can do is send you off on your merry weekend with a fabulous roundup. Have you got any plans lined up? Why don’t you….

I’ve never been affected by the death of a celebrity. I don’t know any celebrities, and while many have met very tragic ends, and I feel empathy for their loved ones, my world has continued on relatively unchanged after the loss.
With each Fall preview collection and school supply sale advertised, I can see the end of Summer in sight. Summer is MY. FAVORITE. Here in Florida the warm, sunny weather will take us into December, but it’s not just the weather that makes the seasons shift. It’s everything: the return of football, trading in that fruity cocktail for a pumpkin spice coffee, and switching from sandals all-day-every-day to boots. I’m not ready for Summer to end! There’s still time, though. There’s still August. In an effort to celebrate the beauty of Summer, here are some inspiring images I just had to share.
